Want an awesome Sunday brunch? Go to Family Dog!

"The Angry Chef" Ron Eyester is actually pretty effin' nice, especially when he hands you a brew like this.
I am now a 'Dog' lover!
I had the pleasure of indulging in the awesome Sunday brunch by Chef Ron Eyester and his staff at his hip spot in Atlanta's North Highlands, Family Dog (1402 North Highland Avenue, 30306). After trying a few of his killer dishes that will fill you up by simply staring at them, I had to take some shots and share them with you.

As you can see below, these menu items are inventive, mouthwatering, and once I tasted them, downright delicious! Pair the grub with their impressive beer list which includes almost 40 varieties broken down in categories to ease our indecisiveness—the refreshingly bitter, aromatic "Bright & Hoppy," the super cheap "Blue Collar Brews," mid-gravity "Mellow Fellows," potent "Black Holes," roasty "Tall, Dark, and Tasty," plus some 750 ml bottles and 10 rotating draughts.
My fave, the Waffle Slider with Berkshire Ham, Brie, & Smoked Bacon  Maple Syrup.
The Hashbrown Casserole with Smoked Bacon, Caramelized Onion, Jalapenos, Cheese & Soft Poached Egg.
The Breakfast Burger with Rosebud Pimento Cheese, Over-Medium Egg, and Berkshire Ham.
You gotta have a brew between bites, right? Here's a SweetWater Exodus Porter going with  that Breakfast Burger shown above.
Fried Chicken and Sweet Potato Waffles.

There's also succulent mussels, a smoked duck omelet, beer battered French toast, cocktails galore, and other goodies on deck. Oh, and Ron's appreciation to music is evident (check out the cool tables using classic vinyl covers as art). No doubt, Family Dog will make you want to  "Sit. Drink. Stay." in a lively atmosphere complemented by a down-to-earth staff.

Cheers!!!
