Atlanta is rocking this weekend! Here's why...

The Georgia Craft Beer Fest is always a blast celebrating local breweries!
Get ready for the 2015 Spring version on Saturday!
The Georgia Craft Beer Fest, Lincoln Stations’s Bottlepalooza, and the annual Atlanta Food & Wine Festival top my list!

Whaddup!

Now you know I do my best to highlight events that need our serious consideration to attend throughout the world, but with Atlanta being my hometown, it’s a must to show some love for one of the best cities in the world. This is especially when it comes to eatin’, sippin’ and overall kickin’ it in Georgia's capital. With this weekend on the horizon, here are three events you shouldn’t miss:

May 29th through May 31st
1065 Peachtree St NE/12th Street and Peachtree Walk
I go to this event every year and for good reason. While in the past I have hosted numerous beer sessions, did some photography and got my Instagram on, but this time I roll as a guest. Based at the posh Loews Atlanta Hotel and the always popping Tasting Tents across the street, try and get the last few tickets available and indulge in some of the South’s best cuisine and libations; learn some cooking tips; and step up your culinary knowledge. It’s awesome! Here is a cool photo album showcasing last year’s edition and a cool graphic illustrating what went down in 2014 here.

Next to Red Brick Brewery, Saturday, May 30th
1 pm to 6 pm (VIP starts at noon)
2323 Defoor Hills Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318
If the picture at the top doesn’t show the good time I had in the past kicking it with Georgia’s finest breweries at GCBF, maybe their official description below will entice ya to get your sip on with me on Saturday! Get tickets here. Support Georgia beer!

They Say: The Georgia Craft Beer Festival is an outdoor festival held in Atlanta, featuring over 30 top breweries in Georgia showcasing their signature craft beers and attracting beer enthusiasts from all over the state. In its third installment, the festival will include an afternoon of games, live entertainment, a variety of food selections from the city’s top food trucks and local craft beers to sample.
All attendees must be 21 years of age (or older).

Sunday, May 31st
12:30 p.m., until…
2280 Henry Clower Boulevard, Snellville, GA 30078
Now you know I love my bottle shares; you know, the joints where everyone shows off their brew collection by bringing bottles to pour for everyone? (check out the one I hosted at Catch 22 Gastropub in Athens, Georgia here.) Well, my homies from Lincoln Fill Station are throwing an awesome one (with a cool name) on Sunday and I will definitely be there! Bring a bottle and kick it with us.

They say: You know the best thing about being a beer hoarder? Most of your friends are beer hoarders too! It’s time to share our liquid treasures we have been collecting! Starting at 12:30 PM on Sunday, May 31st, we will be meeting on the patio and cracking open some of the World’s best beers. For those who haven’t been to a bottle share before, this is how it works:
Bring something worthy of sharing. Not your run of the mill, store bought Bud Light. You want to be proud of what you are bringing. Don’t have anything that you’ve been aging for a while? Bring some nice food (this means more than bean dip or a salad) to join in on the fun! We want a good crowd, so spread the word near and far! This event will likely be PACKED, so get here early!

See you soon!

Your homey,

Ale
