5 Westside Anniversary Party on May 5th!
On Sunday at 5 Westside, it’s our Anniversary Party and we’ll have a killer taco menu. All for just $5. And of course we’ll have half-priced draft beers as well. And since Sunday is the 5th, we’ll be pulling a keg of Black Beauty from our cellar that is now a year and a half old.

Ale adds: And what is Black Beauty you say? Here is the description coming straight from the horse’s mouth. (I couldn’t resist.) On the real, Brewmaster Crawford Moran says…
“Black Beauty is a big Belgian Dubbel - but brewed with rye. It is velvety smooth, chocolatey, has undertones of toffee and rum, and finishes with a dry, spiciness from the rye. The yeast comes directly from an old Trappist monastery in Belgium and imparts a wonderfully complex character to the beer.
I made Chef Dave make me our own traditional dark Belgian candi sugar to add to the complexity. This beer was inspired by the music of Miles Davis. I actually placed speakers right by the fermentation tank and "serenaded" the yeast with Miles' music while it fermented the beer. Outta sight, man!”
(Special thanks to my man Billy S.)

The menu is extensive and imaginative, including buffalo crispy tacos, antelope taquitos, and rabbit enchilada carrot salsa to name a few.

There’s also a few events including…

and my man DJ Red Alert's hosting...
and on Sunday...

Cheers!
Ale
