Brewing Beers and Five-Course Menu
Seven
Lamps and Atlanta-based craft brewery Monday Night Brewing are
giving everyone a good reason to look forward to a Monday. On Monday, June
3, the Buckhead restaurant is hosting a five-course Monday Night
Brewing beer dinner. Dishes from Chef Drew Van Leuvan and drinks include:
· Crisp
chickpeas and peanuts, Korean barbecue
Captain's Monocle cocktail with Hangar One Mandarin
Blossom vodka, Eye Patch Ale (crisp, drinkable IPA) local honey reduction,
black cherry and sage
· Smoked
ruby beet tartare with charred onion cream and happy egg
Fu Manbrew (bright, spicy Belgian-style white)
· Sourdough
pretzel, wood roasted with garlic and herbs
Drafty Kilt Scotch Ale (full-bodied with a hint of smoke
and sweetness)
· Hot
oysters with bread and butter pickles, white bread and Duke's Mayo
Eye Patch Ale
· Red
hots with spicy bratwurst and fermented pickles
Blind Pirate Double IPA (full of hops with a sturdy,
sweet malt backbone)
The dinner begins at 7 p.m. and the cost is $60
