Check out Ale Sharpton’s Atlanta Cask Ale Tasting pics!

Damn we kicked it hard at the 12th Annual ACAT!

Whaddup?!

For Atlanta Cask Ale Tasting's 12th annual installment, I, along with Georgia's cherished craft beer imbibers blissfully indulged in experimental, creative and overall downright delicious concoctions on Saturday, January 23rd at Taco Mac—Prado, the Georgia Chapter Room, and 5 Seasons Prado.
Although the scheduled 8 a.m. judging session was cancelled due to roads still possessing dangerous leftovers from the prior bone-chilling night, the beer gods granted ACAT Founder Owen Olgetree, volunteers, participating breweries, Taco Mac, 5 Seasons, and all festival goers a gorgeous day to collectively get their sip on starting at 2:30 p.m.
Cherry Street and Wild Heaven earned first place honors for "SPECIALTY" and "CLASSIC" respectively, while
MAZURT won the prestigious "PEOPLE'S CHOICE" award, but all attendees were winners because this was one helluva time! See the complete list of entrants and medal recipients here. Thanks go out to everyone who were good sports to pose in these photos, and an extra special shout out to Owen, the 5 Seasons team; Taco Mac's staff; everyone in the gangster Georgia Chapter Room including Adam and Jeremy; my Cruisin' For A Brewsin' crew; my brother Lamont for shooting the pics I’m in; and the breweries that kept our cups full!
Look for more dope upcoming events promoted on this site that take pride in pouring the best beverage in the world (especially those featured in the sidebar to the right). And now, on the proof that we kicked it hard: The photos!

Cheers!

Your homey,
Ale
