It’s American Craft Beer Week!

Here is what’s poppin’ in ATL!

As my cousin G joked, he said every week is craft beer week with Ale Sharpton. I can’t say he’s lying, but this is declared the official one May 16 through 22 thanks to my Brewers Association homies! Their CraftBeer.com site goes into this special seven days of sipping bliss thoroughly, including videos, news, and something really cool—TheBiggest Small Beer Ever Made—where more than 4,400 craft breweries from all 50 states make a beer using the same ingredients and recipe to demonstrate solidarity. Now that’s some cool sh*t!
Anyway, since I live in ATL, I need to show how you how this dope city gets down on the beer tip, so look for my updates throughout the week on Twitter, Instagram and the column of the right about all the events going down to support ACBW.

Brews. Brims. Beats. II
Ladybird Grove and Mess Hall on the Atlanta Beltline
May 19th, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
One of the biggies is something I am hosting, the second edition of Brews. Brims. Beats.! The first one was awesome at The Argosy. The next one is at the ATL Beltline’s Ladybird Grove and Mess Hall on May 19th from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wear your favorite hat (especially if you get one from Goorin Bros. but not required); enjoy the launch of Creature Comforts’ Tritonia plus a new batch of Tropicália; cocktails fusing Cathead Vodka and 18.21 Bitters; the awesome DJs Jamad and mikdeflo; and haberdashery galore! Please come through. It’s free and at an awesome spot along the BeltLine!
Here are some more events for ya.
