It's Atlanta’s first-ever Halal Food Festival!

Atlanta’s first-ever Halal Food Festival is hitting Atlantic Station's Pinnacle Lot on July 19, 2025!

Peace Everyone!

As many of you know, I am always down to do something different when it comes to the food and beverage industry, and it looks like Atlanta is doing just that with its first Halal Food Festival! This one is on July 19th, and taking place at Atlanta Station's Pinnacle Lot. Here is all the info below straight from the source and you can get tickets here. See you there!

What does Halal mean? Here you go:

“Halal (also spelled halaal) is an Arabic word that means “lawful or permitted.” It is a term that is used in the Islamic religion and dietary concepts in contrast with the word haram (which means “unlawful or not allowed”). These terms indicate which life practices are allowed or not allowed for those who practice Islam (Muslims). While halal refers to much more than just Islamic dietary practices, the term is most often thought of when talking about food, drinks, and other products.” - Halalfoundation.org

ATLANTA: The Atlanta Summer Halal Food Festival is thrilled to unveil its full list of vendors and entertainment programming for the city’s first-ever halal food celebration! With nearly 80 vendors and a full day of live performances, interactive fun, and flavorful food, the event promises something for everyone in Atlanta – Muslim and non-Muslim alike.
This one-day outdoor experience, produced by the Atlanta Muslim Festival Collective (AMFC), highlights the diversity and deliciousness of halal cuisine, creating an inclusive and inviting space where Atlanta’s Muslim community can enjoy a variety of halal foods and those who aren’t Muslim can learn more about and indulge in halal cuisine.
“Our vendor lineup is packed with flavor and heart, showcasing beloved local restaurants, bigger chains with halal offerings, and small vendors offering clothing, jewelry, and other goods,” said Hasnain Lakhani, festival co-founder. “We have exciting vendors who specialize in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavors, but also restaurants serving halal-safe dishes that aren’t typically associated with halal cuisine, like pizza, pupusas, burgers, and more. This event is about more than just food – it’s about celebrating identity, community, culture, and connection.
