There is no mystery that I am a crab fanatic—especially
crab cakes—and there’s a whole shipment coming in from the state known to have
the best of those delicious crawlers just in time for Wild Heaven’s third annual
Crab & Tap! Yup, straight outta Maryland’s Harbour House Crabs, steamed
blue crabs and the rest of its Low Country Boil buddies—sausage, corn and
potatoes—will be spread on the tradition table lined with newspaper on Saturday,
July 19, from 1 pm to 4 pm at the Lee+White westside location. You can get

Summer Bash Will Feature Fresh Maryland Blue Crabs,
a Low Country Boil, EDB Micheladas, Live Music and More
Summer at Wild Heaven is not just for cracking cold
beers; it's also for donning a bib, rolling up your sleeves, and grabbing a
mallet to crack apart delicious, freshly steamed Maryland blue crabs as the
third annual Crab Trap & Tap returns. On Saturday, July 19, from 1 pm to 4
pm, this lively feast inspired by the time-honored Maryland tradition of
gathering around a table covered in newspaper and savoring the succulent, sweet
meat of freshly steamed crabs will have everything you'd expect, except for
maybe the "Natty Boh."
Guests can enjoy fresh steamed Maryland blue crabs flown
in from Harbour House Crabs; they will be treated to a classic Low Country
Boil featuring an all-you-can-eat feast of sausage, corn and potatoes, and
other fun salty and sweet summer treats—and non-crab lovers, don't sweat it,
the boil does not contain crab.
For entertainment, groove to the live tunes of Nero Simon & The
Sunsetters as they bring their mellow vibes of sunsets, sand, and surf
back to the Garden once again. And if those vibes play right and the
weather plays nice, Wild Heaven's backyard games, such as cornhole and ladder
golf, will be set up outside on the lawn to keep things active. With community
tables for camaraderie, the garage doors will be open for indoor and outdoor
revelry for one giant party. A cash bar will be ready to serve the perfect
summer drinks, including the iconic Old Bay rimmed EDB-Micheladas, the regular
lineup of Wild Heaven beers, signature cocktails, wine, and select NA
options.
Tickets are on sale now; $90 for General Admission and
$105 for Early Entry VIP, plus fees. Please note that for us to order the
proper amount of crabs and keep 'em fresh, no tickets will be available at the
