From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., at Wild Heaven’s West End location (1010 White St SW Atlanta, GA 303100), I’m booking the VIP ticket and indulging in freshly steamed Maryland blue crabs flown in directly from Harbour House Crabs, plus Atlanta's legendary foodery EATS will be serving up a buffet of jerk chicken, mac & cheese, green beans, corn on the cob, and garlic bread. Summer Bash Will Feature Fresh Maryland Blue Crabs, Jerk Chicken, Cold Drinks, DJ Sets and More!
Summer at Wild Heaven is not just for cracking cold
beers. It is also for donning a bib, rolling up your sleeves, and grabbing a
mallet as Crab Trap & Tap returns to West End for its fourth
year. On Saturday, August 1, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., the annual feast, inspired
by the time-honored Maryland tradition of gathering around a table covered in
newspaper and savoring freshly steamed blue crabs will bring the salty summer
fun back to Wild Heaven.
Guests can enjoy freshly steamed Maryland blue crabs
flown in from Harbour House Crabs, and for the first time, Atlanta's
iconic EATS will
join the feast with a buffet of jerk chicken, mac & cheese, green beans,
corn on the cob, and garlic bread. Whether arriving ready to crack into a dozen
crabs or simply here for the sides, guests can choose from multiple ticket
options, including Land Lover, Surf & Turf, and Full Trap Feast VIP
packages. Additional crabs and drink tickets will also be available for
purchase.
For entertainment, funky DJ sets will bring the party
back to the Garden. And if those vibes play right and the weather plays nice,
Wild Heaven's backyard games, such as cornhole and ladder golf, will be set up
outside on the lawn to keep things active. With community tables for
camaraderie, the garage doors will be open for indoor and outdoor revelry,
making it giant party. Guests can also add drink tickets in advance for easy
sipping, including the iconic Old Bay-rimmed EDB-Micheladas, the regular lineup
of Wild Heaven beers, signature cocktails, wine, and select NA options.
Tickets are on sale now, with options ranging from
the $25 Land Lover ticket to the $115 Full Trap Feast VIP experience, plus
fees. Guests can choose the package that best fits their appetite, with
additional crab add-ons and drink ticket packages available for purchase. Crab
Trap & Tap has sold out in previous years, and advance purchase is strongly
