going down on October 11th in Downtown Washington, DC, and I
will be there for sure to sample some of the 450+ beers being served up! If you

They Say: Named for the fearsome and toothy
mythical beast said to terrorize the DC region at the turn of the century,
Snallygaster returns to DC for its 13th installment as a rollicking celebration
of craft beer, food, music and more. For one day and one day only, we’ll
simultaneously unleash no fewer than 450 highly sought-after draft beers,
gravity kegs and bottle + can pours from from 175 producers, and feature the
best of the best in food trucks, music on two stages all day long,
entertainment and family fun.
If you have joined us at Snallygaster in years past,
then you should know we plan to outdo ourselves for this year’s party in
downtown DC. If you have yet to attend what Washington City Paper readers have
deemed “the Best Beer Festival in DC” every year for nearly a decade, then just
know we are not like the other guys. Each selection is hand-picked by Beverage
Director/Partner Greg Engert and his team to represent the most outrageously
