Reel Talk: The Black Bag

Here’s a quick glimpse of the new spy-thriller film The Black Bag written by our trusty film expert  L.K. Byron.

I am focused on not giving too much away, but this thriller offers mystery, drama, and suspense, a combo we have been looking for, for a long time! It’s the hunt for a suspect in the untimely leak of a heavily confidential software program guided by main character George Woodhouse, played by Michael Fassbender.

High-level suspects—who are also spies—are more than aplenty to work with and narrowing down the culprit tumultuously unravels into a twisted path of highly unexpected conclusions. This intrigue results in the viewers’ engagement, questioning and wonderment only a true movie of this genre aims to accomplish. What are the suspects' motives, and who can uphold their truth? Only one way to find out: Go see it!

The Black Bag is well cast and keeps you guessing until the climax for the win. If you are a fan of spy thrillers and whodunnits, this production aims to please.
