Man, I was torn between these two events but since Taste of the Nation is once a year, stellar, I committed to cover it a long time ago, and it's for a great cause, I had to do what I had to do. Don't get it twisted though, Georgia Pine throws down, and Burnt Hickory is one of the best breweries in the South, so no losing either way! The good news for you is that there are tickets left for both, so if you feel like getting out and indulging in some awesome cuisine and gangster sips, look no further!

Share Our Strength and Atlanta’s culinary elite join again for the 27th annual Taste of the Nation on Thursday, May 7, 2015, at the Georgia Aquarium. The tasting event features signature fare and spirits from over 50 of Atlanta’s most influential restaurants and chefs as well as dessert tastings highlighting the city’s leading pastry chefs, with all proceeds benefiting the No Kid Hungry campaign. This year’s event will be led by the esteemed Dr. Sanjay Gupta as honorary chair and honorary chef Wylie Dufresne of New York City’s Alder restaurant. Tickets are still available here.
